ABOUT US

Women in Credit Risk and Collections (WiCRC) is a membership association dedicated to boosting the presence of women  in Credit Risk and Collections roles within the banking. finance and other sectors. Our diverse members span the entire industry, from major Australian and international banks through to utilities, telco, gov't, mutuals, insurers, investment managers, super funds, professional services, financial regulators, fin-techs, treasury, exchanges and corporates servicing the sector.  This community will serve as a nexus for collaboration, mentorship, knowledge sharing, and empowerment. Rooted in our commitment to usher in transformative change, we foster collaborative relationships with our members, aiming for generational results through innovation, all aligned with our vision of empowering women in the realms of Credit Risk, Collections, Data, Analytics, and Technology

Once upon a time, in a world of suits and ties, I found connection in post-work drinks but noticed many women missing from the scene. This sparked the birth of WiCR (Women in Credit Risk)—a bold, brainy community swapping stilettos for spreadsheets and martinis.

When the world paused, so did we, but our hunger for real connections only grew. From quirky meetups to WiCRC (Women in Credit Risk & Collections), we’ve become a powerhouse of changemakers. Loud, united, and unstoppable, we’re reshaping credit risk, one cocktail clink at a time. Cheers!

Over the years there has been a core council of women driving the WiCRC (previously known as WiCR - Women in Credit Risk) community. Post the Covid pause, we saw a greater demand for connection and engagement.
